    COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:

    Position Summary

    Medical Laboratory Technologist, Core Lab:
    Your role involves conducting laboratory tests and procedures in line with departmental policies, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks. You will also be responsible for equipment maintenance, problem recognition, and effective communication with various stakeholders. This position requires computer proficiency, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform a variety of lab procedures in Transfusion Medicine and Hematology
    • Engage in quality control and improvement initiatives
    • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and accurate record-keeping in the LIS

    Qualifications

    • Valid CMLTO registration for Transfusion Medicine, Hematology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology
    • Prior experience in Core Laboratory is advantageous

This Part-Time Casual position in Laboratory Medicine, Core Lab – Transfusion Medicine offers 8-hour shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. We provide a competitive compensation package, including pay in lieu of benefits, vacation pay, and eligibility for the Hospital Pension Plan.
