JOB OVERVIEW

  • Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and resultsdriven professional to join our team in the role of Business Analyst
    Scheduling.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where you will contribute to the current refurbishment execution scope which may lead to the Pickering refurbishment in the future.
    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Provide business process and support to Department Supervisor/Manager within the accountabilities of the Department.
  • Carry out analysis related to the implementation, guidance, and direction in the specified areas of performance reporting; procedures and systems; internal control, and benchmarking.
  • Provide regular reports on business performance measures including analysis of actual results or targets and measures in place.
  • Carry out support and requirements related to the schedule governance and adherence from Vendor and/or internal OPG departments.
  • Maintain functional relationships with the Business and external vendors.
  • Support integrity and timeliness of performance information to meet reporting and management requirements.
  • Investigates and suggests efficiency improvements in the Department's processes and procedures.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and attempts to learn the scheduling software.
  • Support business and related systems skill training within the Department.
  • Assist Department Manager in analyzing work processes with a view to improving them to make them more efficient and effective.
  • Other Duties as Required

EDUCATION

  • Completion of 4 years of University Degree.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a flexible hybrid office environment.
  • A period of over 2 years and up to and including 4 years of work experience in Business Development Analysis with emphasis in scheduling.
