Our Corporate Services Segment team is thrilled to offer a new opportunity to join Sodexo as our next Facility Coordinator.

Responsibilities:


  • Carry out maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and certain administrative duties related to commercial property operations
  • Plan work schedules, execute tasks with minimal direct supervision, and support general maintenance and operations of buildings
  • Ensure timely follow-up on service requests and work orders status
  • Coordinate, assist, and accompany skilled tradespeople and subcontractors/vendors in building-related tasks
  • Physically work on-site during regular office hours totaling 40 hrs/week and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
  • Allocate time between multiple buildings on-site
  • Identify and rectify unsafe work conditions under management oversight
  • Support special events as needed
  • Train and organize coverage for vacations, sick days, and on-call duties
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs safely, and climbing stairs/ladders as part of daily routines
  • Fulfill other assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Adhere to municipal/provincial/federal regulations in all work activities
  • Comply with company safety and risk management protocols
  • Engage in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard evaluations

Requirements:


Qualifications for Success:


  • Ideal operational knowledge of building systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to effectively manage diverse relationships with team members, contractors, occupants, and clients
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor
