POSITION OVERVIEW

  • The
    Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordinating several Human Resource functional areas including recruitment, onboarding and orientation, training, employee engagement and file management. The
    Human Resources Coordinator will provide daytoday support to managers and employees and assist with projects related to the implementation of Gray Ridge Eggs Inc. strategic plan and related training plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with managers/supervisors coordinate the recruitment process for production staff both internally and externally
  • Coordinate new hire employee orientations and onboarding.
  • In collaboration with management, develop and revise Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate employee training and support Supervisors to ensure training is complete at required frequencies.
  • Update and develop training systems/documentation in accordance with audit requirements.
  • Ensure training is tracked and recorded once training has been completed.
  • Facilitate performance evaluations and probationary reviews, by tracking requirements and ensuring Supervisors are conducting evaluations on schedule.
  • Track Human Resources analytics and prepare accurate and relevant Human Resources reports.
  • Update, organize and file Human Resources documentation and training records electronically.
  • Facilitate the Service Award program annually for employees.
  • Assist with organizing and supporting companysponsored/employee events.
  • Maximize the utilization of ADP and Alchemy. Ensure that where possible, programs and procedures are built with the functionality of these systems in mind.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the code of business conduct.
  • Be an advocate for the Company's values.
  • Convey professionalism and maintain confidentiality when dealing with internal and external clients; both on the telephone and in person.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources Management.
  • CHRP Designation or in process is considered an asset.
  • Broad knowledge and experience of legislative compliance with respect to employment and health & safety legislation.
  • Ability to understand, provide feedback and implement necessary revisions to policies and procedures.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to professionally communicate with diverse individuals.
  • Motivated, selfstarting, detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills.
  • A team player that willingly and enthusiastically provides support and mentorship as required.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential material and matters professionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
