Parts Counter Person
MacKay's Truck & Trailer Center Limited is presently seeking a
Parts Counter Person for their Dartmouth (Burnside) location.

This position requires an individual who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in customer service, strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Previous experience in the heavy truck field is a definite asset. You must possess strong telephone etiquette and basic computer knowledge.


Responsibilities include:

• Promote and sell products and/or services to meet customer needs
• Supply Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Processing daily incoming and outgoing orders
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
• Answering incoming calls from customers
• Greeting walkin customers and assisting with their needs

Hourly wage will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Employee health benefits and company pension plan available. This is a dayshift position Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Wages will be based on Qualifications and experience.
