    Reporting to the SVP of Strategy and Business Development, this role will be pivotal in leading our company's efforts in data center strategy including but not limited to approach in siting, development, structuring and contracting.

    The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional and possesses a deep understanding of the data center industry, coupled with a proven track record in strategic planning and transactional experience in data center-related projects.

    This position will work closely with the SVP and other members of the business development team, as well as other cross-functional teams across the company.

    The Strategy and Business Development team is responsible for defining, enabling,and executing on the commercial and technical strategy of Intersect'sproduct offerings.

    This includes but is not limited to, enabling opportunities across energy storage, data centers, green hydrogen, green fuels (ammonia, methanol, SAF), and other emerging technologiesor business models that create a pathway between clean electricity and the broader economy.

    Lead the development and implementation of the company's data center business plan
    Manage senior-level relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and partners in the data center sector
    Oversee key transactional processes, including negotiations and contracting for data center projects.
    Develop a siting criteria in the context of Intersect's existing and future projects
    Collaborate and align with cross-functional internal teams to execute Intersect Power's Data Center business objectives.

    Provide expert guidance and insights on emerging industry trends, technological advances, and competitive threats in the data center industry.

    Develop and manage budgets for Data Center business plan, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

    7+ years of experience in the Data Center or related industry, with a focus on strategy, siting, or contracting.

    ~ Proven experience in a director-level role or similar, managing complex projects and leading teams.
    ~ Strong understanding of the technical aspects of data center operations and infrastructure.
    ~ Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
    ~ A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
