Description:
Under general supervision leads and directs a group of Campus Services Technician I's and Service Workers; or works independently performing complex and standard campus services duties.

The degree to which each employee performs each of the following tasks listed below will vary according to where and when the employee is scheduled to work.
LEADING AND DIRECTING A GROUP OF CAMPUS SERVICES TECHNICIAN I'S AND SERVICE WORKERS
a) organizes, coordinates and supervises all campus services activities;
b) organizes, and distributes work for department on a daily basis;
c) organizes administrative functions for department on a daily basis;
d) provides estimates to customers for various services;
e) liaises between property managers, trades shop and customers;
f) maintains inventory of equipment;
g) uses departmental computer systems to plan work;
INDEPENDENTLY PERFORMING COMPLEX CAMPUS SERVICES DUTIES
a) leads and directs a group of Campus Services Technician I's and other campus service staff;
b) liaises with and advises customers, campus services staff, and others about prices, services and scheduling;
c) makes recommendations on the purchase of supplies and equipment;
d) performs duties of other campus services staff;
e) works on snow removal duties as required; and
f) other related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements for Selection
Education:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Experience:
Four years of related experience.
Other:
Possession of a valid provincial class "G" driver's license, physical ability to perform required duties, demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written), ability to lead, tact in dealing with people, ability to operate computerized equipment and ability to work independently.
Will be required to complete a Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act training program.Closing Date:01/24/2023, 11:59PM ET
