We are an established mobile house-call cat grooming company based in Calgary.

No two days are ever the same, what remains the same everyday, is our desire to go above and beyond in the service and care that we provide.

We are seeking a part-time employee to join our team for a 2-3 afternoon/evenings per week and 1 weekend day for a total of 15-30 hours/week
.

What are we looking for?

• Experience with small animal handling / restraint
  (must be explained in your resume or cover letter):
• Ability to stay calm and focused in stressful situations
• Kind, positive, friendly, respectful, caring and a love for cats (a sense of humour is also appreciated)
• Customer service skills
• Strong work ethic, extremely reliable, and works well in a team
• Excellent driving skills

What does the position involve?

• Assisting groomer at appointments with our feline clients
• Remaining calm and positive while working with cats and human clients
• Sharing driving with groomer
• Working shift lengths of up to 9 hours. Shift times vary with client need and can will include evenings and one weekend day.
• Administrative and cleaning tasks

Physical agility: working with very agile animals, quick reflexes and adaptability are required


Required:

• Small animal handling and restraint experience (vet clinic setting or other this
  must
  be clearly explained in your resume or cover letter)
• Exceptional punctuality and reliability
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, able to carry 15 pound grooming table up and down up to 3 flights of stairs occasionally
• A clean driving abstract of 5 years or more (Class 5)
• A clean police record check (you must be bondable)

Starting wage is $18/hour with opportunity to advance to $20/hour.
