Accounting Coordinator, Development Accounting
Based in Vancouver the Accounting Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President, Development Accounting.

The Accounting Coordinator will oversee the full cycle of the Accounts Payable function including invoice processing, approval coordination, contract management, vendor payments and inquiries for the portfolio of commercial and residential properties under development.


As an Accounting
Coordinator
You Will:

  • Oversee monthly invoice process
  • Invoice organization and processing by ensuring timely processing of all vendor and trade invoices in accordance to QuadReal's and Municipal deadlines;
  • Assist in wire transfer processing;
  • Input and reconciliation of contract commitments, purchase orders and vendor accounts;
  • Communicate with Development team, JV Partners and Vendors regarding invoice coding, reconciliations and payments;
  • Assist in GST / HST remittances
  • Responsible for chargeback and reimbursement invoicing
  • Assist in administration duties within the Development Accounting team
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management

Your Background:


  • Minimum 2 yrs accounts payable experience in a development or construction environment.
  • Minimum 2yrs contract management experience in a development or construction environment.
  • Post secondary education in, business or real estate considered an asset
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Yardi experience considered an asset
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Teamwork, ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Contribute to a positive work environment / culture
