    Hatch is currently looking for a Civil Engineering Student interested in the field of Structural Engineering to assist the Structural Discipline in Hatch, Sudbury.

    The role is to provide model review, analysis and design support, inspection assistance, research of material for the Engineers and other Technologists.

    Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, design calculations, material takeoff, literature review, technical specifications, and reports for energy and industrial projects.

    Use of CAD tools for 2D drawings and 3D modelling.
    Provide field support for inspection, progress reporting and assessment for various ongoing construction and condition assessment tasks.
    Interface with field staff and support project site work, as necessary.
    Civil Engineering student with interest in Structural Engineering registered with a recognized post-secondary institution.
    Demonstrated writing and oral communication skills.
    Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
    Exposure to CADD software.

    Ability to apply your skills to challenging, interesting, and meaningful projects, while working alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people.
