    Description

    We are partnering with a well-established Quebec-based organization operating in the industrial and specialized technical services sector. Its IT environment is currently undergoing a major structuring phase, driven by a clear commitment to optimizing business processes and ERP solutions that support complex, long lifecycle projects.

    In this context, the organization is looking to hire an IT Business Analyst who can act as a strategic bridge between engineering teams, project managers, and technology systems. This role is central to aligning business processes with digital tools and enterprise solutions.

    Your Role

    You will ensure alignment between processes related to estimation, planning, engineering, and budget tracking and the technology solutions that support them (ERP systems, specialized tools, integrations). You will contribute to business analysis, functional testing, configuration optimization, and user enablement, working closely with the internal IT team and external system integrators.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business and Functional Analysis

    • Gather and document business requirements

    • Draft clear functional specifications

    • Analyze and optimize business processes

    • Perform unit testing and functional testing

    ERP Optimization and Systems Integration

    • Contribute to ERP configuration optimization (SAP PS or other ERP)

    • Support integration of solutions related to engineering and project management

    • Collaborate with external partners for technical adjustments and improvements

    • Participate in digital transformation initiatives

    User Support and Continuous Improvement

    • Train and support end users

    • Provide functional support

    • Maintain documentation and ensure change traceability

    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT


    Profile

    • 5 to 10 years of experience in IT business analysis or functional analysis

    • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering project environments (essential)

    • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, JD Edwards, or equivalent)

    • Exposure to SAP PS module is a strong asset

    • Experience in process optimization and functional testing

    • Strong analytical and synthesis skills

    • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities

    • Solid understanding of engineering and project management processes

    • Excellent communication skills in french and english

    This role is intended for a professional who can understand a full ecosystem of solutions and support users in their evolution, beyond a single ERP system.

    Employment Details

    • Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week)

    • Approximately 10% annual bonus

    • 6 weeks of vacation
