ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD TECHNICIAN (ENTRY-LEVEL)

JOIN OUR TEAM
- Conduct designated substance and hazardous material surveys
- Perform studies relating to mould, water damage, and indoor air quality
- Collect bulk/air samples in accordance with industry standards and methods
- Evaluate and interpret environmental data
- Generate reports based on results of environmental studies
- Assist with the development of field sampling plans
- Communicate with clients, Joint Health and Safety Committees, and other parties as required
EXPERIENCE AND ASSETS
- Leadership skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Organizational skills
- A strong work ethic
- Live within the Niagara, Haldimand, or Hamilton regions
- Possess a valid Gclass license
- Have access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel
- AutoCAD training
- Professional Geoscientist certification (P.Geo, GIT)
- Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T), Certified Technician (C. Tech)
- Environmental Professional certification (E.Pt, E.P)
- Asbestos worker training
- Hazard awareness training
- First aid certification
Job Type:
Contract, part-time (but may be required to work full-time hours as project load increases)
Probation Period:
Six (6) months. A performance review will take place at three (3) months.

Pay:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour
