Administrative Assistant (Full-time), (Head Office, located in Delta, BC)

Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, positive, outgoing individual with a can-do attitude and administrative experience to join our collaborative diverse, inclusive work environment.
As the first point of contact and the face of the company, professionalism, organization, and proficiency is a must You will be a communication expert able to build strong relationships with the head office team and all internal & external stakeholders.
About the Job/Responsibilities:
- Handle all incoming & outgoing calls on a multichannel switchboard, as well as filing, data entry, and archiving Junior accounting tasks such as matching invoices and A/P
- Greet and welcome all visitors and employees
- Take bookings for the boardrooms and ensure no overlap
- Assist colleagues in various departments with tasks to support their administrative workload as required
- Update company spreadsheets and employee contact information
- Ensure the administrative surrounding areas are clean, organized, and visibly attractive
- Coordinate courier shipments, order office & cleaning supplies, and maintain inventory
- Assist in designing the reception coverage schedule and training any new relief staff
About You/Requirements:
- 2+ years experience as receptionist/office administration specifically operating a VOIP switchboard, and use of TimberScan.
- Strong communication skills as well as clear and effective phone etiquette
- Must sincerely enjoy assisting and being supportive to others a true team player that is flexible and dynamic
- Be reliable, friendly, selfmotivated, and able to work independently
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Ability to take direction and achieve deadlines
- Okay with routine tasks and clerical duties such as filing, archiving, and basic data entry
