Description
Summary:
Performs all phases of yard operation and organization duties
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains operations and organization of yard
- Loading/unloading of inbound/outbound rental equipment
- Organizing equipment in or out of 'sea can' containers
- Mobilization of Autoweld/FJC/Deckhand & Pipeline equipment
- Verifies equipment shipped/received to yard staging areas/communicates with shop & operations/sales department
- Receives, inspects and documents rental equipment. Documentation of damages and population of Damage Reporting to Shop/Equipment Manager
- Completes preliminary equipment receiving reports
- Reads and understands work orders/shipping documents/manifest/bills of lading
- Conducts rental fleet counts/audits as required
- Assists with material handling activities as required or directed (loading, rigging, equipment washing)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pipeline Field Experience (Bending, Welding, Coating)
- Working knowledge of rigging
- Ability to distinguish and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to take direction and to work independently.
- Clerical skills to document equipment movement
- Clear communicator (internally & externally)
- Comfortable and capable of directing yard truck traffic
- Valid Drivers' license
