    We are currently hiring for the position of:
    Coordinator, Ecommerce Merchandising (Contract)


    Reporting to the Director, Digital & Ecommerce, the Ecommerce Merchandising Coordinator will support the development and implementation of a variety of merchandising, marketing, and advertising campaigns, focused on building TIFF's brand, TIFF Shop visibility, and supporting year-round and Festival programming.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Shall include but not be limited to:


    • Managing new product uploads, category & collection builds, product detail maintenance, cross-selling opportunities, and promotional activities of TIFF e-commerce site ).
    • Implementing best practices for SEO, pricing policies, creative assets, inventory, and/or pre-orders.
    • Managing planning execution of 365 merchandising plans for TIFF Shop e-commerce site, with support of Director of Digital & E-commerce
    • Collaborating with in-store, marketing department and org-wide cross-functional teams on Integrated Campaign calendar planning
    • Collaborating with other departments to provide strategic content for accounts to be shared across other e-commerce platforms (Social Media Marketing, Email, & Paid Social as examples).
    • Coordinating execution of and timelines around development of product asset deliverables (e.g. photoshoots for own merch)
    • Reporting on e-commerce performance including KPIs, inventory management, and campaign performance, providing data-driven insight on customer shopping behaviours and trends.
    • Liaising with external vendors and coordinating with internal teams to gather supporting e-commerce details such as specs, asset delivery dates, and product images.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the shop team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
    • Ensure brand consistency and standards have been met.

    Skills:

    • Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders both internal and external (programming, community partners, management, internal departments etc.).
    • Exceptional project management skills, including attention to detail and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • Ability to take on new projects and adapt to evolving departmental initiatives.
    • Proficient knowledge of e-commerce best practices as they relate to product page layout, product description, SEO, search, keywords, pricing, UX & UI, checkout, creative imagery, and delivery including sizing, regulations, terms and conditions.
    • Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office, Trello, Mailchimp, Shopify.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
    • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends.
    • Excellent written and oral skills.
    • Strong passion and interest in the film and entertainment industry.

    Effort:

    • Concentrating for prolonged periods at computer terminals
    • Providing service to several people or departments
    • Working under many simultaneous deadlines

    CONTRACT DATES:

    • April 1st 2024- December 31st 2024

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • A post-secondary degree/certificate in marketing, business, or communications (preferred)
    • Minimum 2 years marketing or retail/ecommerce experience, with a focus on execution of integrated marketing campaigns
    • Experience working with Shopify strongly preferred
    • Previous experience working in an arts & culture and/or film environment is considered an asset
    • Previous experience working with cultural community outreach is considered an asset.
