General dental practice downtown Ottawa looking for a full time chairside dental Assistant.

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take digital dental xrays
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
  • Schedule appointments using cleardent
  • Maintain patient records and update medical history
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
'''Experience'''

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred
  • Knowledge of Cleardent or other electronic dental record systems
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
  • Experience in general dentistry is a plus
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial but not necessary
  • Familiarity with Digital Xrays
