JLL is currently seeking an individual to join our Value & Risk Advisory team in Vancouver as an Associate Director.

This high performance and dynamic team are expanding on its professional services team, in coordination with overall growth plans within JLL Canada, and globally.

As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, leading strategic initiatives, and building and improving our existing work tools on the JLL platform.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Involved in client meetings and presentations.
Assist in responding to the technology, data, and security aspects of large client RFPs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Development services with land residual and feasibility analysis.
Completing complex development land, multi-family, and consulting assignments with limited review or oversight.
Market feasibility studies for residential condominium or rental development sites.
Economic market analysis and projections.
Working with Argus Enterprise and Developer.
Build and improve our existing work tools on the JLL platform. This includes the development of our report templates and productivity tools.
Database management.

Develop automation tools for fast and accurate data aggregation to assist in reporting and quality assurance requirements for national portfolio clients.

Provide leadership and direction to a team of professionals, driving collaboration across JLL Canada and Global, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the successful completion of appraisal, consulting, and large portfolio assignments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key national portfolio clients, delivering innovative, fast, and tech
- templates, and improvement processes (where applicable).
Ability to communicate and support valuation conclusions to clients (when required).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within JLL global to leverage the capabilities of existing tools and global investments.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Working with Argus Enterprise and Developer.
Determining highest and best use, estimating market rents, and concluding to credible market values
Conducting research and collecting data from both internal and external resources to aid in the valuation process.
Preparing all aspects of a CUSPAP-conforming appraisal report.
Continuously improving available skillset and market knowledge via participation in conferences, on-line learning, etc.
Provide a professional level of real estate based advisory and transactional services to clients
Contribute expertise in a team-based work setting to various business opportunities conducted by other Company employees.
Providing mentorship, training, and guidance to supporting team members. When required, working with Analysts on team to complete appraisal assignments.


WHAT YOU BRING
5+ years of commercial real estate experience is required
Proficient in industry-specific software and technology.
ARGUS proficiency is an asset.
Completion of AIC courses is required - AIC Candiate
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge of key themes impacting capital markets and investment real estate
Excellent verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced analytical & writing skills
Team player, with an ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
