The Role


The
Deal Desk Analyst is part of our Commercial Operations team and is a vital link between commercial teams and customers, working to ensure complex orders from our commercial staff are priced correctly, improve transparency into the forecast process and translated into invoices for customers efficiently and accurately.


What We Look For

  • 35 years of experience in a similar Deal Desk, Contract Operations/Management role although the experience you gained in that time is far more important that the number of years
  • Comfortable working collaboratively, and prior experience working both independently and with teams of varied sizes to achieve common goals.
  • Experience reviewing and approving pricing deals
  • Experience with Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) tools.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist sales teams in creating and positioning complex orders
  • Partner with sales to ensure opportunities are properly created and tracked in Salesforce including stage, probability, booking amount, and various other required field
  • Provide deal status and communication to sales management to improve transparency into the forecast
  • Active involvement for operational process improvements to increase the effectiveness of the Deal Desk
  • Continuously improve our ability to respond to the needs of Sales, Partners, and Customers
  • Review Order Forms for completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with data hygiene in Salesforce and change requests where applicable.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly analytics on the results of the business and adhoc reporting.
