Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Vice President Manufacturing on a permanent basis at our Home Office located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you'll do:


As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL), its subsidiaries and related companies (the "Enterprise").

Business Leadership
  • You will collaboratively lead the evolution of the Manufacturing business unit to ensure value for the local coops and the Cooperative Retailing System (CRS). This includes cultivating collaborative relationships with local coops and fostering productive relationships with business, and local communities.

People Leadership

  • You will provide leadership as a strong advocate and role model for FCL's values, vision, mission, brand and Coop's Employee Experience (You're at Home Here).

Executive Leadership

  • You will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the Manufacturing Business Unit which includes Technical Services, the Coop Refinery Complex (CRC) and the Coop Ethanol Complex (CEC).

Business Management

  • You will lead strategic business planning, risk management, goal setting, branding, and talent management processes within the Manufacturing Business Unit. Collaboratively work with all Business Unit's in collectively enhancing relationships with local coops.

Innovation

  • You will provide leadership, oversight and executive sponsorship to key strategic projects and initiatives that support and enable the Manufacturing Business Unit as a trusted business partner to its varied customers and stakeholders, most specifically member local coops. Lead and foster new collaborative ideas to improve the Enterprise and local coop business.

Risk Management

  • You will provide leadership to the Enterprise in the identification, assessment and potential mitigation of key business risks including (but not limited to) labour, regulatory changes, alignment of operation and governance risks and CRS unity risks.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Executive Leadership and:

  • You have a minimum of 10 years of related and progressive experience, with a minimum of 5 years at an Organization Leader level or equivalent.
  • You have a relevant University degree (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • You're honest and trustworthy, results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
