Overview


As an AP Analyst, you will assist our Senior Manager, Inventory and Cost Accounting in managing the accounts payable process of the Tonal group of companies.

This role is expected to work with the Senior Manager, Cost Accounting in preparing payment runs, managing the accounts payable software, prepare aging reports, and answer queries from vendors and internal department heads on payables status.

This role will also assist in general accounting processes when required.


What You Will Do:


  • Manage invoice intake into the payables system
  • Onboard new vendors into the payables system
  • Prepare weekly payment runs to vendors
  • Prepare reconciliations between payables system and accounting software
  • Develop and maintain procedures around procure to pay process
  • Review invoice coding and ensure proper classification of expenses into financial statements
  • Coordinate with vendors and department heads on status of invoices
  • Assist Corporate Controller in managing cash disbursements
  • Work with outsourced accounting team to ensure seamless process from invoice intake to payment processing
  • Assist internal accounting team with general accountingrelated requests, including coordinating auditor deliverables
  • Participate in other projects and duties as needed

Who You Are:


  • 35 years of experience working with payables process
  • Able to present information to various levels and communication requirements
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Experience with NetSuite, Tipalti is preferrable
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset
  • The range of base salary for the position is between $76,000 $82,000 CAD plus equity and benefits. We take into consideration an individual's background, experience, and location in determining their salary. This role is also eligible for health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and other additional benefits.
