Location: 1620 Sylvestre Drive, Windsor (Windsor Hyundai)

We are seeking a Service Advisor for our Drive-Thru Service Centre, with a strong understanding of the automotive service industry.

The individual must have excellent customer service skills to work with customers to resolve their vehicle concerns, determine repair timelines and communicate with technicians with accurate repair descriptions, work order creation and delivery.

What You Will Be Doing:

Verify vehicle services by listening to the customer's description of symptoms; clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; quickly conveying the issues to the technicians
Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
Create estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles
Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system
Maintain customer rapport by explaining expected repairs; obtaining customer's approval of work needed; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns
Maintain accurate records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications

What You Bring to the Table:

Excellent customer service skills
Minimum 2 years in a customer service role
Automotive experience considered an asset
Valid G Drivers License
Able to work flexible hours within our business hours including Saturdays
