    Description

    In this Occupational Therapist role, you will conduct community visits to evaluate individuals' abilities and requirements while collaborating with diverse teams and equipment suppliers to enhance functionality. Your caseload may involve pediatric patients needing home or school services and adults with health challenges.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals and community services
    • Analyze various factors affecting occupational performance
    • Create personalized plans with clients and teams
    • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
    • Engage clients in a collaborative manner
    • Maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge
    • Keep accurate client records

    Requirements:

    • Registered with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
    • Open to new graduates
    • ADP authorization is a plus
    • Strong critical thinking abilities
    • Familiarity with community resources
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification
    • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
    • Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening
