- As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to both the Executive Director, Finance & Fleet, and the Executive Director, Information & Risk Management. This position requires a highly motivated individual to provide advanced reporting and administrative support. The successful applicant will be assigned various work tasks in a fastpaced team environment where priorities change frequently.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaise daily with the Executive Directors, manage calendars, document initiatives, and prioritize the needs of the respective areas.
Coordinate monthly and bi-monthly meetings, circulate meeting minutes, and provide administrative support to various teams.
Prepare presentations and document meetings.
Contact and liaise with sworn and civilian members via written communication, in-person, and phone support.
Maintain electronic office filing system in the Calgary Police Service (CPS)
Content Service including:
records retention, Information Security Classification (ISC) guidelines, information retrieval and destruction.
Deliver office mail, order supplies, maintain office machines, filing and other related duties.

Qualifications
***A high school diploma or equivalency (e.g. G.E.D.) plus job related coursework and a minimum of 5 years related administrative experience OR a Business Administration certificate or diploma equivalent to 1-year full-time study and a minimum of 3 years related administrative experience.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) are required.
Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience using InTime and PeopleSoft Financial and Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
Previous experience working in a law enforcement or police service environment is considered an assetPre-employment RequirementsAn enhanced security clearance and credit bureau check will be conducted.
