Description

Assembler - The Centre
Under direct supervision, perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes.

Responsibilities include activities such as:

assembling fixtures or automation components, reading hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams, hydraulic and pneumatic piping, circuit testing and troubleshooting.

Use Solidworks or AutoCAD to interpret sub-assemblies and main assemblies. Requires use of hand tools, measuring devices and lifting devices to perform task. Must have good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.

Requirements:

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent or enrolled in an apprenticeship program.
Read and understand work orders to obtain information
Read and understand mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
Interpret assembly and schematic drawings to troubleshoot technical problems with subassemblies and finished products using Solidworks and AutoCAD.
Ability to work independently and/or with a partner or team
Measure part and compare to specifications and adjust the fit as required.
Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity
Have own personal basic hand tools.
