Description

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans
Coordinating Suppliers & Delivery Schedules
Provide updates regarding progress, cost, change orders, RFI's, workload and material requirements
Document all costs and ensure that expenses never exceed the construction budget
Direct involvement and construction representation for the duration of projects
Preparation of RFI's, quotations, proposals, claims and related correspondence and issue resolution
Assist in developing best construction practices and implementing onsite
Communicating and negotiating directly with clients and designers on a daily basis
Preparation of master and detailed schedules
Responsible for delivering projects on schedule and on budget
Update clients on construction progress through presentations and client meetings
Other duties as requested.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 5 years Canadian construction experience
Post-Secondary Education in a related discipline
Expert communication skills that include active listening, the ability to have difficult conversations, precise writing and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of tendering process, contracts, drawings and construction practices preferred
Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
Action oriented individual with a natural drive towards results
Access to own vehicle and a good driving record is required
Estimating and quantity takeoff experience

Remuneration is based on qualifications/experience.

$85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
