    Position Overview

    As a Senior Data Analyst on the Analytics and Insights team, you'll dive into massive datasets to help bring new insights into service usage, platform costs, and the entire developer ecosystem for Autodesk's developer platform (APS). You'll partner with other teams across the division to help create business insights.

    The team's focus is managing data across the entire cloud platform, with thousands of developers, hundreds of APIs, dozens of services, and the AWS infrastructure that everything sits on top of.

    You will report a Senior Manager and can be located in the US.

    Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis to help senior leadership and product leaders understand specific customer usage patterns and trends
  • Help our company move from reporting to insights, unlocking the full potential of their data
  • Improve data literacy across the product organization and help establish standards for making data-informed decisions
  • Work with product groups to define on metrics and goals
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 year's in SQL
  • 1 year dashboarding experience using tools like PowerBI and Looker
  • 3-5 year's experience deriving insights from data, metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a versatile team
  • Excellent communicator, both in-person and virtually, team player
  • You will need to be comfortable with multiple priorities at a time and drive to successful completion
  • Ability to generalize requirements across multiple partners
  • Dashboarding experience using tools like PowerBI and Looker
  • Willingness to learn the ins and outs of our software and data products to be an data partner
  • Excellent data visualization and data-story-telling skills
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years as a data analyst or related data field
  • Work in multiple time zones
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with data warehouse ELT concepts (Airflow, DBT, Snowflake)
  • Analytics experience in a cloud platform environment
  • Predictive modeling experience
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Proficient programming for Analytics, Python
  • Familiar with Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing concepts

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $87,400 and $150,700. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
