- Physically and practically inspect equipment;
- Perform assessments, measurements, diagnostics, and mechanical duties to ascertain the capacity and functionality of suspension systems;
- Proactively monitor, track, and take necessary action to complete recertification/disposition of suspension systems;
- Creating detailed reports in logs, on-line databases, inspection reports, parts identification for returns, and upload photos/other data as necessary;
- Document dispositioned components;
- Proactively communicate with end users to coordinate work;
- Interface with internal and external parties. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 5 years' related experience in an industrial / mining setting;
- Inspection certifications for fall protection equipment and rigging (preferably LEEA);
- Experience with NDT and functional test methods;
- Competency with CSA B354, CSA B167, CSA Z150, ASME B30, and CSA Z259;
- Experience with Elevated Work Platforms, Scaffolding, Overhead and Mobile Cranes;
- Ability to interpret and apply technical and drawing data;
- Experience in computer-based maintenance system (preferably SAP);
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Schedule: 14/14 or 7/7 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Rental Equipment General Supervisor, you will be part of the Site Services & Infrastructure Department. You will be responsible for performing inspections and generating reports with detailed data and photo documentation, across all areas of the Detour Lake Mine site. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
