We are seeking a Part-time Elementary School Teacher/Tutor immediately to expand our team of certified teachers and motivated educators.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Instruct students on an asneeded basis.
  • Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress.
  • Prepare teaching materials when applicable.
  • Attend training workshops as needed.
  • Complete administrative tasks when required.
  • Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student's individual Goal Sheet.

Requirements:


  • Ontario Certified Teacher (preferred) or very knowledgeable of Canadian Curriculum.
  • At least 1 year of prior tutoring experience in a learning Centre and/or professional setting.
  • Able to work as a part of a team and independently.
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexible attitude & excellent organizational skills.
This is a part-time position, that requires evenings and Saturday Mornings.
