Your Role:
- Champion clientfocused accounting, where your mission goes beyond numbers to deeply understanding and meeting each client's unique requirements.
- Excel in a dynamic, remote environment, where your virtual communication skills shine in both client relations and team collaborations.
- Handle client onboarding with finesse, ensuring a smooth and reassuring transition, showcasing your proficiency in financial reporting and Canadian tax.
- Lead with innovation by integrating and optimizing cuttingedge cloud accounting technologies, particularly Xero, to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
- Tackle challenges with a mix of analytical acumen and inventive thinking, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Pursue ongoing learning and development, evolving in your role while mentoring a team, fostering their growth alongside your own.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for reporting purposes in accordance with Canadian GAAP.
- Oversee the preparation of corporate, individual and trust tax returns and ensure compliance with all Canadian tax regulations.
- Listen attentively to and address client needs, recommending solutions that align with their business goals and comply with Canadian tax laws.
- Eventually evolve into a leadership role, managing a team of dedicated client accounting professionals, instilling a culture of innovation, excellence, and clientcentric service.
Qualifications
- CPA designation (Canada) with minimum of 3 years of public practice experience since becoming a CPA.
- Minimum or 7 years or proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations (ITA, ETA, PST, etc).
Salary:
$100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
