    The Workday Integration Developer is responsible for supporting our ongoing HR systems roadmap and major system implementations. This includes critical support for the go‑live of ADP Workforce Manager and ADP GlobalView, as well as ongoing development, enhancement, and support of integrations across Workday HCM and other enterprise HR/Payroll/Time systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless, reliable integrations that support payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and other HR processes during both project and steady‑state operations.

    Key Job Functions / Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Time, Benefits, IT, and vendor implementation teams to understand integration requirements.
    • Design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Manager, GlobalView, Benefits, Finance, and other third parties).
    • Develop integrations using Workday tools: Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and PECI/PICOF.
    • Configure and maintain Workday Core Connectors to support HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Finance interfaces.
    • Participate in all testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll testing), ensuring accuracy and resolving issues.
    • Monitor integration schedules, troubleshoot issues, and provide cutover/go‑live/stabilization support.
    • Document integration specifications, flows, test scripts, and knowledge transfer materials.
    • Stay current with Workday feature releases and assess their impact on existing integrations.
    • Provide production and business support for integration‑related needs across the HRIS ecosystem.

    Basic Skill Level Requirements


    Education

    • Workday Integration Certification(s) is a plus.

    Experience

    • 3+ years of hands‑on Workday Integration experience.
    • Previous experience integrating Workday with Payroll (ADP GlobalView, Workforce Manager, etc.).
    • Strong HR/Payroll/Time systems process knowledge.
    • Experience supporting HRIS go‑live projects.
    • Familiarity with vendor file formats and global payroll/benefits interfaces.

    Skills

    • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
    • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

    Tools

    • Expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and PECI/PICOF.
    • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, XPATH, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).
