The Supervisor of Multiple Program provides direct leadership, supervision, and support to the multiple program team and oversees resource management within their assigned program.

The Supervisor of Multiple Program is responsible to ensure the multiple program pool of personnel are available to support the group living programs.

The Supervisor of Multiple Program ensures policies, procedures, and agency standards are being met. The Supervisor of Multiple Program collaborates and communicates with the group living team and other internal and external stakeholders.

The position is located primarily in Prince Albert but is required to travel between locations on a regular basis.


Qualifications:


Education and Professional Certification

  • University degree in business administration, human services, or related field of study.

Experience

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults with behavioural, cognitive, mental health, and/or developmental challenges.
  • Minimum one (1) year of management experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Services

  • Work with the group living management team to create, maintain, and manage the scheduling of multiple program employees across the northern programs.
  • Work in a collaborative manner with the group living managers and directors to ensure clear and open communication.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained to deliver complete services across diverse working environments.
  • Manage the daytoday operation of the centralized scheduling function to ensure efficient and effective use of resources through the development and oversight of sound scheduling practices and associated business rules. This includes ensuring all employee data and schedules are maintained on a daytoday basis.
  • Identify efficiencies on current business processes and systems and develop plans and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
  • Monitor, review, and interpret performance data (financial and operational).
  • Collaborate with and establish professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the Behaviour Management and Support Policy and Procedures are being followed.
  • Provide postcrisis response and debriefing followup and training.
  • Promote and participate in community events, agency activities, and other activities as required.
  • Ensure the team's documentation in permanent records, working papers, and intraunit communications is complete and in compliance with agency standards.
  • Responsible for shortterm unit manager coverage as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Leadership

  • Supervise the multiple program team including; recruitment and selection, performance management, professional development, and staff discipline.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and team development for all group living employees of the program including: facilitating individual and team meetings; overseeing and providing training and development plans; completing evaluations, reviews, and when applicable, performance improvement plans; participating in employee relations issues and investigations; providing post crisis debriefing; and providing advice and consultation.
  • Responsible to ensure direct reports have completed mandatory training.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and agency standards are being met.

Management of Resources

  • Schedule all employees of the program using agency approved systems for 24/7/365 coverage for the participants of the unit. Manage and update the schedules as required including approving paid time off (PTO) requests, filling open shifts, and addressing staffing requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with the multiple program team.
