Who you are:
Reliable and adaptable General Labourer, who is seeking a role on our production line(s) assembling frames for curtain wall. Your unwavering commitment to safety has allowed you to be successful in your career. As an outstanding general labourer, you will maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality. Adept multitasker with abilities to handle a number of workplace responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency. Ability to learn new skills and duties in a fast-paced environment.


Summary:


The general labourer will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with Glazing.
  • Panel Assembly.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Maintain clean workspace and production floor.
  • Following production guidelines and specifications.
  • Following all health and safety protocols as trained.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Must be be able to read measuring tape.
  • Following health and safety standards.
  • Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
  • Assembling products and parts.
  • Following production guidelines and specifications.
  • Finalizing and packaging products for shipment.
  • Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment.
  • Working on the production line and meeting production targets.
  • Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:
KSA's Needed

  • Familiar and able to use a variety of air tools.
  • Able to work overtime.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Punctuality.
  • Teamwork.
  • Respect for others.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Technically minded.

Schedule:


  • Day Shift located in Concord, ON
  • Work time: Monday to Thursday from 7:30am5:00pm and Fridays from 7:30am to 12:30pm
  • Work term: Fulltime 3 month contract to permanent
  • Work notice: Immediate or 2 weeks notice

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
$20.00-$21.00 per hour
