Duties

  • Identifying and targeting new business opportunities
  • Utilizing technical knowledge to effectively communicate the value of products to customers
  • Providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process
  • Collaborating with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, construction contractors, and other industry professionals in Edmonton, Alberta.
  • Provide product information and technical support to customers as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports and updates for management as required.

Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales within the construction industry.
  • Strong working relationship with builders and construction contractors in Edmonton, Alberta.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong sales acumen with a focus on technical sales
  • Strong customer service orientation to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- sales: 1 year (required)
