LPC Construction is a high end renovation and remodeling company who pride ourselves on our attention to detail, and creating a comfortable experience for our clients.

We're looking to hire a full time carpenter / remodeler to manage our Toronto jobs.

We're in the High Park / Junction area, with sites stretching from Mississauga, up to Forest Hill, and over to The Beaches, so living near there will make things easier when we're bouncing between sites.

Hours are 8:004:00 Monday-Friday, with very occasional longer days when the project demands it, but no weekend work.
Since most of our projects are small to midsized renovations, with only a few guys on site, your duties will include a lot of hands on work alongside planning the project and managing the team. Work could include everything from demolition and formwork, to trim, tile, painting, or even restoration work on old cabinetry. We don't expect you to have experience in everything, but the ability to learn new skills and think on your feet will be important.
Pay is negotiable but competitive. It depends on the skills and the tools you can bring to the job, and includes a comprehensive benefits package after the probation period.

Requirements:

A driver's license and your own vehicle
Your own tools, at least a basic set but more is better
Three years of experience in residential construction, ideally with experience managing teams and handling client relations. We're looking for someone with a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate, coordinate, and plan.
Good people skills. Our clients often live onsite throughout the renovation, and being able to answer their questions, keep them informed, and just generally put them at ease goes a long way.
