Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources allocation.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that on site activities meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Compliance: Ensure that all project site activities comply with relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenges and obstacles that may arise during the execution of the project, finding innovative solutions to keep projects on track.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years in residential building projects. Experience with high rise residential would be considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of building processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore, MS Project, Jonas).
- Knowledge of building regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
