Job summary

The Laboratory Supervisor in conjunction with the Pathology Laboratory Manager, Director of Laboratory Services, and Discipline Director for Pathology is accountable for participating in the execution of the mission and vision of Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP). They coordinate all operational aspects of Anatomical Pathology labs including Electron Microscopy lab at HHS and Cytology lab at SJHH.}

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining performance standards which are determined by professional groups or legislation.
  • Working collaboratively to ensure effective management of services.
  • Investigating new technologies specific to pathology laboratory.
