The Opportunity:


The Daily Gleaner is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill a contracted position of three to six months for a Distribution Coordinator.


What you'll do:


  • Supervise and organize newspaper distribution and service of the Provincial newspapers, Flyer and Parcel distribution network.
  • Effectively coordinate and supervise the day to day distribution operations.
  • Proactively resolve all related delivery and service problems.
  • Maintain acceptable service levels through the independent distributor delivery network.
  • Oversee and support a network of contract drivers.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, communicating effectively with other employees and independent contractors while managing multiple tasks, and working effectively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven work environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid New Brunswick drivers' license.
