About This Opportunity:


Here's a sparkling opportunity for a Production Supervisor looking to lead a team and optimize the operation of a large supply chain.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for manufacturing products using safe and efficient processes, while supervising production team members.

This opportunity is for our production center located in Lachine.


Overnight shift, 9:30pm to 6:30am

Responsibilities:


  • Employee management, including scheduling, absences, staffing, training, evaluation and development, and all other aspects related to managing a production team in a unionized environment.
  • Support efficiency and key performance indicators
  • Manage the manufacturing process, including mixing, filling and packaging
  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment breakdowns or operation stoppages that have resulted in downtime
  • Verify production line readiness for startup
  • Manage overall packaging and product quality to ensure compliance with all packaging and flavor standards and specifications, at the best possible production cost

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience;
  • Have a minimum of four (2) years' experience in a unionized manufacturing and production environment, with a minimum of two (2) years as a direct supervisor of a team;
  • Experience in cleaning and sanitation would be considered an asset;
  • Bilingualism in spoken and written French and English
  • Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health and safety standards, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and ISO standards;
  • Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodology tools for problem solving and leadership performance;
  • Intermediate computer and database skills; SAP is an asset
