    This posting will be used to fill positions in our Langley and Burnaby offices. Please indicate which office locations you are interested in working at in your pre-hire questionnaire.     Your resume should show us:

    • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (or transportation related areas) and eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC,
      or a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and eligible for registration as an AScT with ASTTBC
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel, Synchro/SimTraffic, and AutoCAD
    • Experience with or enrollment in courses related to transportation planning, traffic engineering, and road safety
    • Experience with AutoTURN, VISSIM, SIDRA, and/or HCS
    • Experience with traffic counts and other traffic data collection surveys
    • Attendance or presentations at transportation related professional events

    Responsibilities:

    The ideal candidate will be a flexible and enthusiastic team player, be eager to learn new skills , and be willing to support projects of various types at a technical level. They will also be required to have and maintain a valid driver's license. The successful applicant will:

    • Work with a team of engineers, planners, and technicans to deliver excellence to our clients
    • Provide support on transportation planning, traffic engineering, and road safety studies and reports
    • Complete transportation analyses using industry-standard tools, methodologies, and guidelines
    • Prepare conceptual design drawings for transportation improvements across all modes
    • Organize and conduct site visits and traffic surveys

    Depending on your experience level, the salary range for this position (based on a 40-hour work week) is:

    • $70,000 - $80,000
