    About the Role

    We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to work as a part of our software engineering team, as we craft, implement and maintain scalable, configurable software solutions. You must be positive, diligent and possess strong analytical skills. Together we will have the opportunity to challenge development assumptions to reduce the risk of poor user experience. You will take ownership of the test inventory to build, modify and maintain robust efficient test cases, end to end test strategy, test plans, and regression tests for our product. We will work together to find opportunities to automate workflows to increase reliability and predictability. You will help the team triage bugs and product issues. You will build and maintain your own test environment and test data when required. As a quality advocate you will promote testing guidelines, methodologies, and standards for VNDLY. We believe Quality Assurance Engineers like you can provide the team a valuable perspective from the beginning of the software development process

    About You

    Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, testing web applications.
  • Experience in identifying and prioritizing regression and automated test scenarios in test case repository.
  • Skilled in prioritizing and performing new and regression test scenarios efficiently during release cycle.
  • Other Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Management Information Systems or 8+ years of relevant software testing experience.
  • Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • General understanding of test frameworks, programming languages, and automation libraries (e.g., Selenium, CodeceptJS, JUnit, Jest, Javascript).
  • Experienced in initiating automated testing processes in CI/CD systems and analyze test failures for deployment and regular weekly releases.
  • Experience working with Cloud Service Providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Proficiency in debugging software issues and collaborating with developers and product managers.
  • Experience understanding and testing with (Application Programming Interfaces) APIs.
  • Experience testing relational and non-relational databases.
  • Proven experience driving projects forward with limited oversight and good sense of ownership.

    The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
