Service Delivery Manager

What part will you play?


The Service Delivery Manager, is a hands-on technical leader who coordinates all the onsite technical details, activities and resources required to successfully execute the client's specific live events in a creative, engaging, technologically sound and budget-friendly manner.

The environment consists of traditional AV rooms and support as well as Live Event, auditorium and studio space.

The Service Delivery Manager will also be responsible for supervising the personnel and equipment needed to deliver the desired look and feel effectively with a premiere event space.

What will you be doing?

  • The Service Delivery Manager will be executing the highest customer service of executivelevel and highprofile live events for both internal and external audiences. This includes the setup, audit, pack and down of equipment.
  • In partnership with client teams, this person is the technical advisor and scheduler of resources and equipment needed for the successful delivery of event requirements.
  • Ability to request, read, create, and communicate technical meeting and presentation requirements for discussion to client for approval.
  • Create, Implement and Maintain tickets, audit trails, ordering, best practices, operating procedures, and process improvements required.
  • Scheduling, Coordination, Sourcing and Supervision of internal team as well as external vendors and thirdparty teams used for successful event planning, media services, and technical production.
  • Main point of contact for resource coordination cost estimates and vetting proposals for resourcing productions necessary for successful execution of client broadcast events.
  • Awareness and ability to consult on current and upcoming advancements in technology in the following areas: presentation, broadcasting, webcasting/livestreaming, video conferencing, PTP (peertopeer) communications.
  • Introduce new and futurefriendly, costconscious solutions and tools for studio team daily operations.
  • Review, manage and establish production processes for field production, multicamera webcasts/event captures, and large live event productions.
  • Testing and incorporating new technologies and equipment into existing solutions
  • Create, Test and Report on Tabletop Workflows and Use Cases and Event Reporting.
  • Event Mockup testing, equipment connections, configurations, and ties back to control room or into room systems as required.
  • Team management, SLA reporting, Processes and Directions of live event team and AV Operations Staff.

Physical Working Environment:


This job operates in a professional studio, hotel like - full-service, high touch, conference center facilities, tradeshow floor, event environment.

This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, streaming and presentation devices as well as road cases of gear, staging, video screens, studio gear, cameras, and video production technologies.

Travel for this role could be required however unlikely. The ability to move, lift 50-75lbs of gear is required. Ability to stand on your feet and work long hours based on project demands is required.

What do we require from you?


Education/Certifications:


  • Fouryear degree in related, Communications, Media, Live Events, Broadcast Production or Relative Experience a must.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in postproduction, Studio Broadcast Production, Live Shoot/Field Production.
  • Technical AV knowledge of Systems such as Crestron, Biamp, Evertz.
  • Relationship with multiple Freelance resources and experience in managing skilled technical staff.

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:


  • Superior leadership, collaboration, and creative skills
  • Complete understanding of all aspects of video live production.
  • Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly receive and communicate creative direction to/from others.
  • Excellent communication, planning, timemanagement, and followthrough skills
