ABOUT THE ROLE


Reporting to the Director of Loss Prevention, the Loss Prevention manager is responsible for driving internal and fraud investigations in-store and at Field Support Center (FSC), while working to support the Loss Prevention team and stores across Canada.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct internal investigations of issues such as employee theft and violations of corporate loss prevention policies
  • Develop and implement programs to reduce loss, maintain inventory control, and increase safety
  • Run and analyze monthly loss prevention reports to ensure adherence to guidelines
  • Lead and develop a team of internal analysts
  • Build and update policies and procedures
  • Handle ORC investigations
  • Collaborate in planning, coordinating and moderating meetings including offsite, National and DLPM conference calls
  • Crossfunctional collaboration internally within the FSC (Education, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, Finance, Merchandising, Logistics & Distribution)
  • Generate reports and build presentations to present information to Leadership, Directors, and VP's
  • Any additional tasks or projects assigned by the Loss Prevention Director, as needed

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Proven experience supporting stores country wide, in a corporate environment; minimum 3 years of experience required
  • Strong understanding of project management, program development and execution
  • A passion for collaboration, and creativity to bring new insights to the team, as well as build on existing ones
  • You have proven organizational skills and have a knack for managing your time and prioritizing tasks while maintaining quality and expectations
  • You are motivated by a fastpaced environment
  • Technically savvy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • You've mastered the art of communication, both verbal and written
  • You have excellent interpersonal, leadership, coaching and conflict resolution skills
  • You love solving problems and using your analytical skills to identify trends and develop effective solutions and strategies
  • College or University degree in business, management, or a related field preferred
