SPECTRUM RESOURCE GROUP IS HIRING
Spectrum is currently seeking an Integrated Vegetation Management Field Supervisor for our spring/summer 2023 projects.- Position will take place in Northern BC- Full time, year-round position


Essential Functions:

  • Ensure Compliance on all OH&S related aspects
  • Ensure Spectrum policies are followed
  • Assist Project Manager and Human Resources with hiring and personnel resource requirements
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans for the crew
  • Work with crew on sites daily, and assist crews with daily operations
  • Assist Project Managers with project reports
  • Ensure daily communication with Crew and Clients
  • Enter payroll for self and crew in electronic payroll system

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.C Pesticide Applicator Certification (5 year), or provincial equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in using a chainsaw
  • Experience in vegetation management
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 and Transportation Endorsement OR Occupational First Aid Level 3
  • Class 5 Drivers License and Clean Drivers abstract
  • Any educational background in Natural Resources, Forestry or Environmental Science would be considered a strong asset
  • Experience using ATVs, or other offroad vehicles
  • Able to work outside and in a range of weather conditions
  • Physically fit to work and walk in a rough terrain area
  • Can comply with Drug and Alcohol Test (mandatory for safety sensitive position chainsaw and vehicle operation)
