Job Description:

Permanent parttime position; 16 hours per week
Saturday and Sunday from midnight to 8 AM

Here is an overview of your tasks:

Play a proactive role in identifying, tracking and reporting potential security risks;
Conduct exterior and interior facility patrols;
Monitor intrusion and fire alarms;
Respond to emergencies;
Ensure that occupational health and safety policies and procedures are followed to promote a prevention culture;
Report all potentially hazardous situations to the Chief of Safety;
Resolve conflict situations in collaboration with managers;
When required, control the arrival and departure of visitors, suppliers and other persons;
Write event reports to document incidents and record evidence;
Conduct surveillance of the premises using security cameras;
Communicate any suspicious behavior or concerns to the Chief of Security;
Occasionally, you may be required to work at Techo-Bloc's facility located in St-Hubert located a few minutes from Chambly;
Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of security experience;
Valid First Aid certification in the workplace;
Valid driver's license no more than 3 demerit points;
Excellent analytical and judgmental skills;
Crisis management and problem solving skills;
Good observation skills and selfcontrol;
Team player;
Excellent communication skills;

Bilingualism (an asset)

Due to frequent communication with clients in Quebec, Ontario and the United States;
Valid BSP license an asset (Otherwise Techo-Bloc will support you with your renewal fees).
