The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is currently seeking an M365 Business Analyst co-op student/intern for the Fall 2024 work term (September to December) to work with our Technology team.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING- Test new software and features to identify opportunities to meet business requirements- Develop user guides and communications about new products and services- Engage and regularly liaise with the user community to understand their needs- Collect, organize, and analyze problems to support solution recommendations- Work with business and technology leaders to drive adoption of the Microsoft 365 platform- Research new and innovative ways to create business value with the M365 platform- Support organizational change management activities working across BCI departments- Participate in technology modernization projects that impact up to 1000 users- Ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the team

REQUIRED SKILLS- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing- Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, excellent product quality, and attention to detail- Has an interest in investment management, a dedication to hard work, commitment to the highest ethical standards, and an eagerness to learn- Strong research skills combined with analytical and problem-solving abilities- Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook- Familiarity using Microsoft 365 tools such as One Drive, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams would be an asset

THE DETAILS- Work term: Fall 2024 (September to December)- Department: Technology-

Office Location: 750 Pandora Avenue, Victoria, BC- Spend your off hours exploring beautiful Victoria and Vancouver Island- All co-ops/internships will need to be completed in person at our Victoria office.

Employees may work from home one day per week. Please note, some positions are not eligible for hybrid work.
