Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food orders using POS systems
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high service standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed
• Manage time efficiently to serve multiple guest during busy hours
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout shifts

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and order accuracy
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
