Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care, including feeding, walking, and playtime
- Administer medication and follow any other special instructions as needed
- Keep accurate records of all petrelated activities
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or injury and report any concerns
- Provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for pets
- Clean up after pets, including litter boxes and waste cleanup
- Ensure pets are safe and secure at all times
- Provide daily updates on the pets' wellbeing
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pet caregiver or similar role
- Strong knowledge of pet care, safety and animal behaviour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients' homes
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledgeable of fearfree handling techniques
Job Types:

Up to $30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
