Position:
Hydraulic Technician - Repair & Service

Trades:
Millwrights, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Machinist (With Cylinder/hydraulic exp)

Salary:
$25-40/hr Depending on experience

Location:
Delta Shop Position


We are currently looking to hire 2-3 Millwrights for our Delta shop, this position would be involved with repairing and servicing large hydraulic assemblies.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Breakdown, Inspect, Diagnose, and make recommendations regarding the extent of repairs
  • Repair the equipment in a timely and financially responsible manner;
  • Testing and QC of equipment after repair
  • Work as a team, training apprentices, coordinating with other departments
  • Interpret work orders and technical manuals;
  • Employ workplace health and safety practices at all times;
  • Be motivated and able to work in a challenging environment with mínimal supervision.

Qualifications:


  • Trade ticket or apprenticeship in Millwright or HET is an asset
  • Experience in repair/maintenance of rotating equipment
  • Experience with complex and large scale hydraulic systems
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

Hydraulic Repair: 2 years (preferred)

  • Industrial equipment repair: 1 year (preferred)
