Vintage Hotels is looking to hire a Trolley Driver to join our growing team


The Trolley Driver is responsible to organize wine tours for Guests by providing transportation, coordinating with selected wineries and offering information to guests about the Niagara Region.


What you'll be doing:


  • Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
  • Provides comprehensive, entertaining wine tour narration to tour participants.
  • Provides punctual, organized transportation to wineries.
  • Collects and verifies tour reports and tour participants.
  • Calls wineries to advise of number of tour participants.
  • Making suggestions to Decorating Manager on how to improve tour programs and improvements to the trolley.
  • Accompanies the accounting representative on bank visits
  • Delivers and picks up interhotel mail at all properties in a timely fashion
  • All other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Knowledge of Niagara wine industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A clean driving record
  • Prior guide or interest/experience in wine industry
  • Working Class "C" License (or equivalent)
  • Two years experience in a transportation environment
  • Excellent safety record
  • Prior experience working with large groups (tourists, conferences)

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$16.21-$17.06 per hour

  • Evening shift
  • Holidays
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • NiagaraontheLake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
