The Project Manager will manage labour, purchasing, supplier and subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and financials of assigned mechanical construction projects in GTA region ON.

Projects will have a focus on plumbing, heating, and HVAC, in commercial, Schools and residential/condo sectors. You will be responsible for establishing and managing client relationships. This position is based at the branch with occasional travel to project sites.


Job Duties:

• Participate and contribute in estimating turnover, and preconstruction meetings.

- manage the labour workforce on assigned projects.

• Build and strengthen subcontractor and supplier relationships; review contracts for scope, maintain productivity, quality, and costs, and ensure the projects are completed in a manner that supports the overall strategic and operational objectives of the company.
• Prepare project plan & schedules.
• Attend client and construction meetings as required and to disseminate the information to the workforce, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Estimating and assisting in estimating if required.
• Ensure that company's safety standards are SOPs are communicated and adhered to.
• Prepare and manage project documents like RFIs, change orders, project trackers & logs.

Skill Requirement:

• A 4 year bachelor's degree (or equivalency) or a college diploma in construction technology.
• A masters degree/diploma in project management is preferred.
• AutoCAD, Fast Pipe & other construction software are added advantage.
• Experience in the construction industry in a Project Management capacity with a strong emphasis placed on Mechanical work.
• Ability to interpret the site and building plans and specifications.
• Comfortable in managing multiple projects simultaneously & prioritizing tasks based on demand and deadlines.
• Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
• Fundamental understanding of project financial controls.

Salary:
$65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
